“Shaolin Temple” is a series of action movies of Chinese production.
The first three parts were filmed in the 80s of the last century, but in 2011 fans were able to see the long-awaited remake. The main role in the first three parts of the movie performed Jet Li.
Events unfold in China in the VII century AD. The 2nd Emperor of the Tang Dynasty Li Shimin was framed by one of his generals, who has now declared himself the head of the Eastern Capital. In addition to this, the general kills a common slave and the son of this slave – a guy named Ji Yuan manages to escape and is decided to be sheltered by the monks of the Shaolin Temple.
