The French Connection (1971)
Police officers Jimmy Doyle and Buddy Russo work in the narcotics division.
In one of the evening clubs, Doyle notices a newcomer who has joined a group of drug dealers. On their own initiative, the partners set up a stakeout for him.
Soon the police become aware that a large shipment of drugs is arriving from Marseilles to New York…

Jimmy Doyle, nicknamed Popeye, is still fighting drug dealers.
Pursuing gangsters, the brave policeman goes to Marseilles, where a tense battle with drug dealers is unfolding.
